Fatima Felting Woolen Enchanted World
When I buy wool and other fibers to create my pieces, I make sure the seller provides sound information as to how the wool is collected, and choose what I need from live animals exclusively in countries where people are passionate and respectful in their treatment of these living creatures. Only then am I excited about producing my works of art in loving and creative ways. God bless us and all living things!

Needle felted tree + video class
Here is my humble video showing how to make a needle felted tree. As I am a completely new video maker, the images are dancing sometimes, but it won't take the fun away, I promise. Enjoy it, my friends. It is free!

Woollen Enchanted World
Resilience: after failing to make the "Wet Felting Beachscape" painting with the kit I had purchased, I didn't give up. I spent a couple months unhappily looking at it, then I decided to make a 3D piece instead. With needle felting and whatever materials I had available I created this beach scenery in the center of the picture. It was so enjoyable that I decided to make more - seven smaller ones too. I tell you, I admire you people who make those beautiful woolly paintings. My talent doesn't get that far or I am too hard on myself. Or yet both. #livingfelt

Art in the Garden 2018
After a challenging year, I am grateful to have my woolly work done to show off at Sarasota Art Center “Art in the Garden: A Holiday Arts Boutique”.
My booth will be conveniently set inside the Art Center building.
Stop by and see my fairy dolls, scarves, wreaths, wrapped soaps bars, & much more. I count on your support and friendship to keep on doing what I love the most: art.

Flower pins
This week I made these five felted flower brooches to bring light colors to the season.
I made them with merino wool 19 microns (80%) and silk (20%), using the technique wet felting.
With a safe pin on the back you can easily attach it to your coats, cardigans, dress, scarf, bags, hats, or where your imagination chooses.

Fall 2018
Smiley Scarecrow says: "Sing to me, Autumn, with the rustle of your leaves. Breathe on me your spicy scents that flow within your breeze... Love me, Autumn, and behold this love so true. That I'll be waiting faithfully each year to be with you."(author Patricia L. Cisco).

Burlap&Lace Wreath
I had seen this burlap and lace mix before so I decided to make my own version of it. I first made the core of my wreath with a pool noodle that I bought from a Dollar Store. I wrapped it with twine making sure it was very sturdy, then started making these burlap flowers in two tones. Then I put all pieces together and my first burlap/lace wreath came out and I can't wait to make another one.
