I had seen this burlap and lace mix before so I decided to make my own version of it. I first made the core of my wreath with a pool noodle that I bought from a Dollar Store. I wrapped it with twine making sure it was very sturdy, then started making these burlap flowers in two tones. Then I put all pieces together and my first burlap/lace wreath came out and I can't wait to make another one.
When I buy wool and other fibers to create my pieces, I make sure the seller provides sound information as to how the wool is collected, and choose what I need from live animals exclusively in countries where people are passionate and respectful in their treatment of these living creatures. Only then am I excited about producing my works of art in loving and creative ways. God bless us and all living things!
