Nuno Felting: a technique named that involves felting loose wool fibers into cloth, usually silk.
Material used on this piece: Merino 19 microns, mohair, silk fibers and silk chiffon.
When I buy wool and other fibers to create my pieces, I make sure the seller provides sound information as to how the wool is collected, and choose what I need from live animals exclusively in countries where people are passionate and respectful in their treatment of these living creatures. Only then am I excited about producing my works of art in loving and creative ways. God bless us and all living things!
